Say what?! Petro-what? Yeah, that was pretty much my response when I saw the posts in my oil groups. Then I saw the videos and pretty much said, "Yup...it's time!"
So now it's toxin clean up time! Throughout your life your body builds up toxins. Toxins from the air, from the everyday products you use, to the food you eat. They're everywhere. What's worse is that they get stored in your fat! Eww! And they plump up your fat! Double eww!
What does the petrochemical "weightloss" regimen do? Well, it helps remove the toxins and pretty much "shrink" your fat. Hmm...shrink my fat? Why not? Don't get me wrong, exercise and healthy food choices are the way to go, but the toxins are still there.
Now if you've seen any of my posts on Facebook or Instagram, you'll see that I use my oils for everything. This is just another reason for me to use them! So now I get to remove the bad stuff and replace it with better, healthier stuff.

I basically am combining info from these 2 videos and making it my own. Make it your own and do what you feel comfortable doing.
I will be using ledum and citrus fresh, along with 5 drops grapefruit every day. I only recommend the Young Living Brand as those are the only ones I can vouch for. If you want any of these products let me know and I can help you get your hands on them.
**Please, please, please...don't use 20 drops of grapefruit. Your tummy and your bum won't be happy with you. I'm starting with 5 drops of grapefruit and will increase to 10 halfway through. If 10 drops is too much for you, just reduce the amount and increase slowly.**
Second, I'm incorporating exercise. I've been collecting exercises from Love Sweat Fitness. It's all about a healthy diet and exercise. Just plain ol' hard work. Hmmm...who would've thought? I went to school with Katie and yeah, she's got it figured out! She's one smokin' lady!
Third, I'm hooking up with Happy Herbivore to help with my meal planning. We adopted a vegan diet a year ago after watching "Vegucated" and "took a break" for a month because I got tired of eating the same stuff. All the recipes I would find were so convoluted and required obscure items or tons of soy and junk. But Happy Herbivore makes it sooo easy and it's really yummy food. You can do a 3-day trial run to see if you like it. Personally, I love it! Here is this week's menu.
And finally, I'm drinking a boat load of water! I was doing a gallon a day, but that, as you can imagine, had me peeing every 5 seconds. I felt like I was pregnant again! So I will get close, but will aim for 10 cups a day. That's the equivalent of 5 pints for you beer drinkers. Easy peasy...
Okay, so I've given you the basics, but what do you do with the oils?
I have a TON of mason jars from canning. So every week (this is a 3-week cleanse) I will pour 1 bottle of Citrus Fresh into my GLASS jar and mix it with 25 drops of Ledum, and to help spread it nicely about 20 drops of a carrier (I'll be using jojoba). The reason I'm not combining all of them is because I'm afraid I'd use it all too fast. So if I go week by week, I'm guaranteed to pace myself. How did I come up with the amount of Ledum to put in? There are about 80 drops in a 5ml bottle. Divide that by 3 and you get about 25 drops per week. I will apply 2 times a day, morning and night, to my target area. I'll start with my belly. And then, it's measuring time.
Then at night, I will take my capsules with 5 drops of grapefruit. If you don't want to fiddle with the capsules, take it in a shot glass with water. Now as I said earlier, I'll be doing less than what she recommends in her video, but will increase halfway through. And you know what? These oils are POTENT. So less is more.

**Update: I started this last night because I couldn't wait. I got my measurements, which to be honest, I was kind of surprised. I have been doing minimal workouts and taking the weight loss trio and have kept off the inches and then some. Word of caution: You WILL smell like you walked through a citrus orchard. Not necessarily bad because it reminds me of California. It could be worse, right?**
